Cloughaneely GAA notes: Intermediates overcome Naomh Brid to make quarters

Intermediate A Championship

It was a strange championship game at home on Saturday evening as Cloughaneely faced off against Naomh Bríd without spectator support amid new Covid regulations prohibiting spectator attendance. Cloughaneely came out the worthy winners of their fourth round encounter securing them a home game for their quarter final against Red Hughs. Final Score 1-14|1-9. They have a weekend off from championship and revert back to league this weekend.

Div 1 League

Seniors play Downings at home on Friday evening at 7:30 pm while Reserves play Glenswilly at home at 1 pm on Sunday. Please keep an eye on the club facebook page for any changes to fixtures.

We were delighted to have held our first lotto draw in over 5 months on Wednesday, August 19th. The numbers drawn were 1,9,10,14,15,20! No jackpot winner..we had 5 match 5’s and the one winner drawn for the €100 was Donna Gallagher! Our jackpot is now €5,700!! Please note our next draw will be Wednesday Sept 2nd.

The outlets which are available to anyone who wishes to support the lotto are:

1) Lotto can easily be purchased online at the following link: https://clubforce.com/clubs/gaa-clg-chloich-cheann-fhaola-donegal/
2) We will now have a stand selling Lotto in Falcarragh on Saturday’s from 12 noon until approx 2 pm for now.
3) Lotto tickets are available in various outlets in Falcarragh & Gortahork. If you don’t see the lotto tickets on display ask for them behind the counter.
