Update: 3.30pm: There are no further reports of N15 flooding.
Earlier post:
Gardaí in Donegal are urging road users to take care due to heavy flooding on the N15.
The Donegal Town side of Ballybofey is worst affected, but the road is passable with care.
The AA Roadwatch is also reminding motorists to slow down in stormy conditions.
A Status Orange Rainfall Warning is in place for Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal until 6pm today.
Slow down if driving on wet roads and keep further back from other road users in front. Remember that heavy rain can affect visibility, so be extra mindful of others on the roads. Only drive through surface water if you know it’s not too deep for your vehicle/bike.
