THE Termon GAA club has suspended all activities as a Covid-19 precaution.

The club confirmed the measure this afternoon as it awaits the outcome of the result of a Covid-19 test undertaken by a club member.

The club said: “We have taken the decision to suspend all activities in all age grades and codes as a precautionary measure.

“The club has informed CLG Dhun na nGall, the GAA and the HSE. The club since returning to play has adhered to the GAA and HSE guidelines. The wellbeing of our members and the wider community is paramount in everything we do.”

Five other sports clubs in Donegal who had taken similar measures in recent days have returned to activity again.

Precautionary suspensions were put in place at Kilcar and Milford GAA clubs as well as Milford United, Donegal Town and Cockhill Celtic.
