Motorists in Donegal are being advised to slow down due to wet roads across the county.
Heavy rain has led to a large volume of surface water on a number of roads.
A Status Yellow Rainfall Warning is in place for county Donegal, as well as Leitrim, Sligo and Mayo until 5pm today.
25 to 35mm of rainfall is expected throughout today, with a risk of localised spot flooding.
The advice from AA Roadwatch is: “Take extra care this morning: slow down and keep well back from other road users. Only drive through standing water if you’re confident it’s not too deep for your vehicle.”
