DONEGAL jockey Luke McAteer recorded a 48/1 double at Leopardstown today.

McAteer won aboard the 13/2 Adamaris and the 11/2 Angel Palanas.

His first success was on Adamaris in the 45-60 Leopardstown Handicap.

McAteer rode nicely to beat Erytheia by a head.

“They told me to jump,” McAteer said.

“They fancied him and said if I get the break to make plenty of use of him and he picked up nice turning in.”

McAteer followed up with a win aboard Angel Palanas in the 50-80 Leopardstown Handicap.

This was McAteer’s third win on the Pat Murphy-trained six-year old in recent weeks after previous successes in Listowel and Tipperary.

They had three-quarters of a length on 9/1 chance Reverberation.

“Luke is riding out of his skin,” trainer Murphy said.
