Barrett on the mark again as FC Köln make it three from three

AMBER Barrett made it three goals in three games as FC Köln maintained their perfect start to the new season.

The Milford woman netted in a 2-1 win for TSG Hoffenheim II.

Barrett and Sharon Beck were on target with Köln on the maximum nine points from three games in the new Frauen Bundesliga 2 season.

Barrett scored in a 2-1 opening day win over Saarbrücken before adding another goal last weekend in a 3-1 victory over Bayern II.

Barrett will now join up with the Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team squad for next Friday’s crucial UEFA Women’s European Championship qualifier away to Ukraine.
