TYLER Toland scored her first Glasgow City goal in a 3-0 SWPL win over Motherwell this afternoon.

Toland netted the third goal as Scott Booth’s side took a comfortable win at the Penny Cars Stadium.

With 18 minutes to play, Toland brilliantly volleyed to the top corner to get off the mark at her new club.

After a scoreless first half, Glasgoe City captain Leanne Ross opened the scoring with a penalty on the hour before Jo Love doubled the lead on 67 minutes.

Five minutes later, Toland got in on the act as Glasgow City’s quest for a 14th SWPL title rolls on.

Toland made her Champions League debut on Wednesday as a half-time substitute in Glasgow City’s penalty shoot-out win over Peamount United.

Last Sunday, the St Johnston woman made her first start in an 8-1 hammering of Forfar Farmington.

Booth recently snapped up the Republic of Ireland international on a season-long loan from Manchester City and the midfielder is already making waves in her new surroundings.
