KYLE Callan-McFadden enjoyed a winning start to life at Kings Lynn Town FC.

The Ramelton man joined the National League outfit after ending a four-year spell at Sligo Rovers.

Callan-McFadden played today as Kings Lynn Town overcame Dover Athletic 2-0 with Rory McAuley and Adam Marriott on target.

The win lifts Kings Lynn up to 10th in the Conference Premier.

The defender previously spent five years at Norwich City, where he won the FA Youth Cup in 2013.

In 2014, he featured in a League Cup win over Crawley Town, but left the Canaries and moved to Orlando in late 2015 before returning to Ireland, signing with Sligo Rovers.

Callan-McFadden, who was appointed Sligo captain in 2018, has been capped up to Under-21 level by the Republic of Ireland.
