Donegal businesswoman Una Tynan is set to expand her cosmetics empire after teaming up with fellow businesswoman Pippa O’Connor.

The Buncrana entrepreneur is the face behind Blank Canvass.

Tynan set up the business in the middle of the economic downturn in 2011 but it has been a huge success since.

Her range of products are now sold at more than 700 locations, have expanded into the UK and have recently done a distribution deal with Boots.

Now a chance meeting between Tynan and former model O’Connor has resulted in a new partnership – UP (Una and Pippa.)

They first came across eachother when Pippa complimented Una’s products on her hugely successful blog, pippa.ie

Former teacher Una responded to say thanks and the pair got chatting.

Donegal woman UNa puts her success down to “the strategic marketing strategy through digital and influencer marketing, as well as a more refined product range to appeal to a wider customer audience.”

Pippa said she is really looking forward to where the products go and the collaboration with Una.

She added “We have put our hearts and souls into launching this brand and we are very proud of it.

“It was a shared dream of creating a high-end, luxurious cosmetics brand. YOu don’t have to be a make-up artist to use this range.

“It is a quick-fix in the morning to make you feel your best.”
