Motorists are being advised to take extra care on the roads tonight due to spot flooding.
Flooding is reported in parts of the north west following this evening’s heavy rain.
The Letterkenny to Lifford road is particularly impacted.
Just outside Sligo Town, Scotsman Walk (linking the N15 Bundoran Rd to the Rosses Point Rd) is currently closed due to flooding.
A Met Éireann Status Yellow Rainfall Warning is in place for Donegal until 9pm tonight.
