Covid-19: Fewer than five new cases in Donegal, with 33 deaths nationally

FEWER than five new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Donegal this evening.

When cases are below five, the exact figure is not specified in the daily bulletin.

Donegal is one of the counties with the lowest number of new cases today.

The news comes as 33 further Covid-19 related deaths and 744 new cases were confirmed nationally.

There have now been 3,980 deaths and 211,113 cases since the outbreak.

Thirty-one of the deaths announced this evening occurred in February with the other two in January,

As of 8am today, 861 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 159 are in ICU. There have been 51 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
