Covid-19: Twenty-five new cases confirmed in Donegal

TWENTY-FIVE more Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Donegal this evening.

Nationally, 25 further Covid-19 related deaths were announced by health chiefs.

Another 566 confirmed cases were reported across the country.

In Donegal, the 14-day incidence rate is 199.1, which is in line with the national average of 199.4. Over the last 14 days, there have been 317 positive cases in the county.

Of today’s reported deaths, five occurred in March, 13 were in February and the others occurred in January or earlier.

As of 8am today, 489 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 114 are in ICU. There have been 29 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.

Since the outbreak, there have now been 4,357 deaths and 221,189 confirmed cases.
