The Magee brother and sister team, Chloe and Sam, have just lost out to one of the world’s best doubles teams at the Swiss Open this afternoon.

The Magees, from Raphoe, went down bravely in the last 16 of the prestigious tournament to the number 7 seeds Mark Lamsfuss and Isabel Hertrich Flag of Germany 21-17 21-8.

The tournament in Basel was their first competition since the Denmark Open last year.

They will look to get back on track for Olympic qualifying at the next tournament, which is the All England Open Championships in two weeks time.
