A Raphoe man has appeared in court charged under new Covid regulations.
Derek Crawford was charged with not wearing a mask on public transport.
It is believed this is the first case of its kind to come before the courts in Donegal.
Mr Crawford, aged 45, from William Street in Raphoe is charged with the offence at Port Road, Letterkenny, on December 11th last.
Mr Crawford was not at Letterkenny District Court when his case was called and was not legally represented.
Solicitor Donagh Cleary said he knew Mr Crawford and would try to make contact with him.
The case was adjourned until May 10th.
