Breaking: Another 19 cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Donegal

ANOTHER 19 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Donegal.

The figure is the third highest in Ireland today after Dublin (156) and Meath (23).

Nationally, 18 further Covid-19 deaths and 349 new cases were announced this evening.

Donegal’s 14-day incidence rate (152) has crept above the national average of 148.1 again with 242 confirmed cases in the county over the last 14 days.

Of the deaths reported today, 17 occurred in March with the other in February.

The median age of those who died was 78 years and the age range was 55 – 102 years.

There have now been 4,552 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland and a total of 227,663 cases since the outbreak.
