Job Vacancy: We have an exciting opportunity for a FULL-TIME CHEF/MANAGER to run the Weavers Loft Café in Magee of Donegal.
The Weaver’s Loft is an integral and established part of the iconic Magee 1866 store. The Café is designed around breakfast, lunch, home-baking and hot drinks. We are developing our food offering as a store – through gifting and hampers and the Café is an integral part of this future growth in food.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage a team and develop a creative and seasonal menu for our customers and visitors – both national and international.
The menu will be updated regularly and will focus on quality home-baking using local produce for breakfast and lunch options.
We would like you to have previous experience of the following:-
- Cooking and baking to a very high standard.
- Setting menus, ordering and monitoring supplies incl. costing and pricing against budget.
- Managing a busy kitchen and rostering staff.
