AS ATHLETIC competitions loom on the horizon, Stranorlar’s Millbrae was a hive of activity once again with Finn Valley AC hosting a ‘Children’s Games’.

Events for children born from 2011-2014, included runs, throws and jump competitions.

This exercise will have proved a valuable outlet in preparation for Donegal and Ulster Championships, not to mention the pending national championships, particularly in the Covid-enforced absence agin of the annual primary school sports from this year’s schedule.

The host club had around 120 participants with parents providing an excited backdrop as their children ran, threw and jumped in the rain.
