Four people were rescued after a boat ran ashore off Inishowen last night.
The small yacht encountered bother when it ran aground off Lisfannon beach just before 8pm.
Lough Swilly RNLI rushed to the scene after an alert was issued by the Irish Coast Guard.
The stranded boat was towed away from the sandbank and escorted to Fahan Marina.
None of those on board reported any injuries.
