Accountant
Working in our Finance team the successful candidate will
- Maintain general ledger for one of the Company’s legal entities (Spalding)
- Prepare month-end/quarterly/year-end accounts within prescribed deadlines
- Provide regular reports for Senior Management
- Process intercompany transactions
- Be in charge of Accounts Payable – process payments, manage cash flow, and petty cash
- Manage royalty and marketing fee collection including preparing and issuing of invoices
- Prepare budgets and forecasts in close cooperation with Senior Managers and support business planning
- Assist the team’s accounting tasks, support preparation of monthly management accounts, including month end procedures and reconciliations for various legal entities
Profile:
- Graduate level or similar work experience required, with 2-3 years’ experience of working in a busy Finance department
- Show strong attention to detail
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software
- Ability to multi task effectively and work within strict deadlines
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Be very methodical and organised
