The long-awaited works on the ‘Four Lane’ road into Letterkenny are set to begin next week.
The multi-million project will see safety improvements work carried out on a 1.4km stretch of road between the Dry Arch and Polestar roundabouts.
Works were delayed multiple times due to Covid-19 restrictions.
The Construction Contract was awarded to Fox Building & Engineering Ltd. on the 26th May 2021.
Separately, Barry Transportation Consulting Engineers are appointed to provide Donegal County Council with site supervision services.
Works are planned to last for 15 months.
Separately, the Letterkenny Illistrin cycleway works are also due to start next week.
