Ronan Boyce rescues a draw for Derry with late equaliser

RONAN Boyce’s 86th minute goal earned Derry City a draw with Sligo Rovers tonight.

Derry were trailing to Jordan Gibson’s 55th minute goal, but Boyce struck four minutes from the end.

The Candystripes deployed an unchanged team from that which started in Friday’s win over Finn Harps in Ballybofey.

Gibson riffled past Nathan Gartside after getting on the end of a long kick-out by Ed McGinty.

Derry, though, rescued a draw when Boyce’s deflected effort found the net.
