Breaking – Young man seriously injured in Letterkenny assault

Gardaí are investigating a serious assault in Letterkenny in the early hours of this morning which resulted in one young man being hospitalised.

The incident occurred in Glenard Park in the Long Lane area of the town.  

“A male in his 20s was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to be treated for serious yet non-life threatening injuries,” a garda spokesperson told Donegal Daily.

“A juvenile male in his teens has been arrested in relation to this incident and is currently detained at Letterkenny Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. The investigation is ongoing.”
