Met Éireann is forecasting a mix of cloud and sunny spells today.
Scattered showers will develop through the day, some may turn heavy this evening.
The national forecaster is estimating highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees.
It will be cloudy overnight with scattered showers. It will also be mild and humid with light southerly breezes and lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.
Conditions will remain unsettled for the next six days with a mixture of sunshine and heavy showers.
However, the good news is that there is expected to be a welcome return of the ‘Azores High’ from July 16, with extended dry spells, glorious sunshine and drastically reduced rainfall levels.
It will bring Mediterranean-like conditions for some parts of Ireland until July 23 when it slowly begins to weaken.
