Gardaí are appealing for information after a car was set alight in the driveway of a home in Milford.

A white Lexus, which was the owner’s ‘pride and joy’ was destroyed in a fire in the Lough Fern Heights area on Sunday night/early Monday morning.

The criminal damage incident occurred at approx 1.55am on 12th July.

Gardaí and fire services attended the scene.

Gardaí say they are satisfied from initial investigations that the damage was malicious and substantial damage was caused to the car.

An appeal has been issued to people who were in the area at the time of the fire or who have dashcam footage from the area to please provide it to Milford Garda Station on (074) 915 3060 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
