High demand for Covid-19 testing has led the HSE to extend the opening hours of the Cleary Centre testing centre in Donegal Town.
From today, Wednesday, the centre at Drumlonagher will operate walk in clinics only between the hours of 11am and 3pm. It opens 9.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, except Wednesday when it closes at 4pm.
People are being asked to book their appointments online at http://www.hse.ie to allow for the smooth operation of the centre.
The Covid rates in the south Donegal area are the second lowest in the county. There were 38 cases in the area in the two weeks from 29th June to 12th July. The incidence rate in south Donegal is 143 per 100,000 – slightly above the national average.
