Motorists are being advised to avoid the Lifford area due to large tailbacks.

Local Councillor, Gerry Crawford, said that traffic is currently backed-up as far as the Rossgier Inn, on the Letterkenny road.

This is as a result of a traffic incident on the Strabane side of Lifford Bridge.
