SEANIE Boyle from Kilcar helped fire Warwickshire to glory in the All-Britain GAA Football Championship on Saturday.

Warwickshire, managed by Donegal man Charlie O’Donnell, defeated London 2-13 to 0-8 in the final replay at McGovern Park in Ruislip.

The teams shared a 0-13 to 1-10 draw last weekend, when James McDowell bagged the crucial goal for Warwickshire.

Conal Dowling and Sean Dirrane netted the goals in the replay while wing-forward Boyle clipped over a few points for the winners.

Boyle moved to Coventry earlier this year and was a member of the Kilcar panel that reached the 2020 Donegal SFC final – a game that will be played in two weeks’ time.

Boyle also featured for Finn Harps youth teams in the past.
