Job Vacancy: Glenmore Estate hiring AD Plant Technician

Job Vacancy: Glenmore Estate in Cloghan Co. Donegal are recruiting for Skilled AD Plant Technicians with electrical and mechanical competencies for our Anaerobic Digestion plants within our renewable energy division.

As a skilled technician you will be responsible for daily processes including production, compliance, optimisation, monitoring & preventative maintenance activities.

Candidates will have strong competencies in problem solving / diagnostics preferably with electrical & mechanical qualifications and demonstrable experience

This role reports to the Plant Manager.

Duties:
➢ Inspecting incoming loads of feedstock and completing documentation
➢ Completing daily/weekly/monthly plant checks
➢ Undertaking and completing Electrical & Mechanical maintenance as directed to a high standard (subject to electrical qualifications)
➢ Overseeing and managing dispatch of products ensuring all requirements are satisfied
➢ Changing / repairing motors and valves as directed to a high standard
➢ Loading feedstock to enable plant feeding
➢ Operate, Monitor and report the operating performance of both Biogas Plants & Satellite site CHP engines, responding to, and escalating abnormal operating parameters where necessary
➢ Undertake training on and offsite as necessary
➢ Ensuring site is clean and free from debris and litter
➢ Complete any other jobs / instructions as directed by Management
➢ To comply with all Health and Safety regulations
➢ To work effectively with management and staff
➢ Adhere to all company rules and policies at all times
➢ To carry out any other duties as requested by management from time to time

Requirements:
➢ Capability to work on own initiative within a cohesive Team
➢ Logical decision-making skills
➢ Electrical & Mechanical qualifications preferred
➢ Excellent communication skills
➢ Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel & Word
➢ Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
