Six Donegal groups will share almost €300,000 in funding towards playgrounds and infrastructure projects.

The funding comes under the Department of Rural and Community Development’s CLÁR Programme.

The Donegal projects to benefit are St Francis’ NS, Culdaff Development Association, Murroe NS, Glencolmcille Parish Council, St. Davaddog’s NS and Fintown Railway.

See below for breakdown of the successful Donegal projects:

The announcement was made by Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD.

Further announcements under the CLÁR programme will be made by Minister Humphreys in the coming weeks.

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Donegal TD, Charlie McConalogue, today welcomed confirmation.

The Minister commented on the announcement “The announcement of €285k in funding for six projects in Donegal is a tremendous support to these vital community projects and will help support employment, community development and volunteerism. I thank all the community groups involved with these six projects for their ongoing commitment to their local communities.”
