Two men and a woman have been arrested after Gardai found more than €20,000 worth of drugs in a car in Co Donegal last night.
The car was stopped during a routine traffic patrol between Newtowncunningham and Burt.
Gardai became suspicious when they stopped the vehicle and found a large quantity of what is believed to be cannabis in the car.
The group were taken to Buncrana Garda station where they were questioned overnight.
One of those arrested is form Donegal while the other two are understood to be from Northern Ireland.
One of those arrested has since been released without charge.
The other two suspects are to appear at a sitting of Ballyshannon District Court later today.
