The Port Road in Letterkenny will be closed for three nights from tonight for resurfacing works.
The nightworks will take place from Wednesday, September 8th and will last for three nights from 8pm until 6am the following morning.
The Port Road will be closed to through traffic at the Station Roundabout and Polestar Roundabout on the three nights.
Diversions will be in place as indicated at both roundabouts. Access will be provided where necessary.
Engineers hope to get the substantial work (tarring) carried out on Wednesday and Thursday night with lighter work on Friday so that the road closure may not be needed.
Access will still be provided for emergency services
