ANOTHER 1,346 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed by Irish health officials today,
The Department of Health says that there are now 315 Covid-19 patients in hospitals.
Of those, 59 people are receiving treatment in intensive care settings.
There are 16 Covid-19 patients at Letterkenny University Hospital, with two admissions over the last 24 hours. As of 8pm last night, there are no confirmed Covid-19 patients in ICU at the hospital.

Daily county-by-county figures are no longer released by NPHET, but the latest data shows that Donegal has Ireland’s second highest incidence of infection.
The 14-day incidence rate in Donegal stood at 977.4 per 100,000 on 8th September. The national average was 442.0 per 100,000. A total of 1,556 cases of Covid-19 have been detected in Donegal in the two weeks up to Wednesday.
