A WEST Donegal man recently jailed for 16 months and banned for driving for eight years has appeared in court again on motoring charges.
Just two days after being handed a six-month jail sentence and an eight-year ban on September 16 at Falcarragh District Court, Dillon McCool was arrested on September 18.
McCool, 21, of Loughanure, Annagry, was brought before Judge Kevin Kilrane a special sitting of Carrick-on-Shannon District Court on Sunday, September 19.
Garda Shane O’Gara charged McCool with dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving without a licence at Crolly, Bunbeg, on September 18.
McCool has 34 previous convictions.
Judge Kilrane refused bail and McCool is due to appear via video link at Letterkenny District Court on September 27.
