There has been a fall in the number of people in hospital with Covid-19.
As of 8am today, there were 282 patients with the virus being treated, down by 15 people on the same time yesterday morning.
However, there has been a slight rise in the number of patients with the coronavirus in intensive care units.
As of 11.30am, there were 65 people in ICU, compared to a figure of 61 at the same time yesterday.
Yesterday, the Health Service Executive said that those who are immunocompromised will be notified of an appointment for a third dose of Covid-19 vaccine from next week.
People will begin to be notified of their appointments from Wednesday and the administration of the third dose of the vaccine will begin on Friday.
