Gardai have confirmed that a man in his 50s suffered “serious injuries” following a traffic incident in Letterkenny on Sunday night.
A pedestrian was out walking around 7.25pm at Letterleague when he was struck by a car.
Garda forensic officers spent the day at the scene of the incident yesterday gathering vital evidence.
A Garda spokesman told Donegal Daily that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
He said “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision at Letterleague, Co. Donegal, yesterday evening, 10th October 2021.
“A male pedestrian aged in his 50s was struck by a car. He was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
