Four Masters came from behind to book senior football for another season as they overcame Termon in a tight contest.
The first-half provided us with just six points, only one of them from play as both teams played close possession football which produced many turnovers.

Termon led 0-04 to 0-02 at half-time, with three frees from the returning Daire McDaid and another from Steve McElwaine.

Jamie Crawford had opened the scoring for Masters from a free and their other , the only one from play in the half, came from Dylan Kennedy.

The teams exchanged two points apiece in the opening twenty minutes of the second-half to leave it 0-06 to 0-04.

Richard 0 Rourke pointed a super free to narrow it to one between them, but Ricky Gallagher restored Termon’s two point lead immediately.

Four Masters looked in trouble but responded with three winning points.

Shay Travers had a goal chance but pointed from close range with Killian Faulkner scoring from distance and to complete the comeback and snatch the victory Richard O Rourke converted a super long range free to make it 0-08 to 0-07 and Four Masters ahead for the first time since the game’s opening score.

The Donegal Town men secure Senior championship football for 2022 while Termon face a derby semi-final play-off against Glenswilly next week.
Four Masters scores ; Richard O Rourke (0-02f’s), Cian Hegarty (0-02), Killian Faulkner (00-1), Jamie Crawford (0-01f), Sean O Kennedy (0-01), Shay Travers (0-01). Termon scores ; Daire McDaid (0-05/4f’s), Ricky Gallagher (0-01), Steve McElwaine ( 0-01f).
