Donegal was celebrating Ireland’s famous rugby win over the All Blacks of New Zealand in more ways than one.

Caelan Doris, later named as the man of the match, has strong Donegal connections.

Although Doris is a native of Ballina in Mayo, his grandfather hails from Lettermacaward and he has cousins there and in Fintown.

Kevin McCready, of the Gweebarra Bar, is a first cousins of his father – Christopher Doris – as is Marice Devenney(McCready).
