A new Language Planning Officer has been appointed to lead out the Tory language plan.
Seanán Mac Aoidh from Mín Bhuí, Caiseal na gCorr and originally from Co Monaghan will take up the role.
Comharchumann Oileán Thoraí CTR, as lead agency in the language planning process, was delighted to announce the recent appointment.
The Gaeltacht Act 2012 dictates that the community in every Gaeltacht Language Planning Areas must prepare a language plan for their own area so that it can be recognised as a Gaeltacht area.
