The winner of Donegal Daily’s most Dashing Dog competition loved the pup-arrazzi today as she picked up her prize.

Ada, a five-month-old American Bully, was crowned the winner of our hugely popular contest this month.

And she was only too happy to pose for the camera today when she visited the Donegal Daily office to meet the team.

Her owners, Andreza and Ryan, were proud as punch that their fur baby was the winner.

Stephen Maguire presents the Dashing Dog 2021 prizes to Andreza, Ryan and Ada

“We loved the competition because we really think that she is a dashing dog. She wins hearts everywhere,” said Andreza.

Ada was the last of a litter of pups from Kilmacrennan, and she may be small now, but she has a lot more growing to do… and a lot more puppacinos to slurp!

Stephen Maguire, Editor of Donegal Daily, was delighted to present Ada with her Dashing Dog prizes today. She wins:

  • A year’s supply of dog food (with conditions)
  • A framed dog portrait by Brian McDaid at Cristeph Studio
  • A five night stay in a dog hotel at Amandas Kennels and Cattery
  • A head-to-toe groom
  • A beautiful handmade Donegal tweed collar by Orwell & Browne

Thanks again to all the proud pet owners who entered the competition.
