On December 1st last, Donegal Daily carried a court report from a case at Sligo Circuit Court involving Patrick Curran of Sheshkin, Derrybeg who pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexual assault.
In the course of the report part of Mr Curran’s legal team was named as well-known barrister, Mr Keith O’Grady, BL.
However, we accept that Mr O’Grady, a leading criminal law barrister, did not act for Mr Curran in this case as we wrongly stated.
We would like to unreservedly apologise to Mr O’Grady and sincerely regret any distress our report may have caused him.
