Changes to support businesses such as pubs and restaurants hit by early closures will be discussed when the Government meet this morning.
The businesses will be able to claim new financial supports.
What exactly they are has not been announced as of yet.
The Coalition is aiming to put in place a scheme for those companies and premises that saw their crowd capacity and opening hours cut from yesterday.
This support around wages and overheads will run along the lines of what was available during the last full lockdown.
Today’s Cabinet meeting is scheduled to be the final one of the year with Government insisting there are no plans for more restrictions.
