St. Eunan’s GAA club of Letterkenny had its very own Father Ted moment during their Christmas Draw.
The fundraising draw took place last night via Facebook livestream, led by club chairman John Haran with the assistance of his son Ollie.
Amazing prizes were up for grabs – and some were too good to turn down.
That’s what happened when it came to the final prize, which was two Garth Brooks concert tickets.
Young Ollie picked his dad’s name from the drum, and delightedly declared, “if we won, we won”.
But John, despite being a legitimate participant in the raffle, gave up the tickets and promptly drew again.
