ProAmpac is based on the Gaoth Dobhair Industrial Park in Derrybeg and is a world leader in flexible packaging solutions, serving a global market with a diverse product offering.
We have a number of positions available for General Operatives to work in our facilities in the Gweedore Business Park. Successful candidates will be required to work a rotating shift pattern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain experience working on a diverse array of equipment and become part of a knowledgeable and supportive team. This position offers opportunities for you to grow within an industry-leading company. The nature of our business requires strict adherence to Safety, Health and Hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that all health & safety requirements and procedures are adhered to, including the highest standards of housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practice.
- Working as part of a team, you will play a key role in producing a broad range of food packaging products
- Carrying out in-process checks to ensure product quality meets internal and customer specifications
- Becoming familiar with the various product ranges and the specific requirements of each product
- Assisting in the efficient transition from one product range to another, including compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Being trained on a range of equipment and roles to ensure flexibility across the production operation
- Communicating clearly with teammates and supervisors to report problems that arise with machines, materials, or other aspects of your role.
