Finn Valley’s junior women’s team finished in 6th place at the European Champion Clubs Cup Cross Country in Portugal this morning.
The team was led home by Sarah Bradley in 12th place with a time of 15:37.
Nuala Bose was the next Finn Valley women home in 17th place, 16 seconds behind her teammate.
Eimear McCarroll (16:25) was 31st and Emer O’Brien (17:36) was 47th and were the 3rd and 4th runners that helped secure the sixth place team finish.
The team were also without their lead runner from when they won national team golds at under-19 and under-20 levels in late 2021 in Cara Laverty.
