Dunfanaghy Golf Club have paid tribute to former Lady President Mary MacIntyre who died last week.

“We lost a real stalwart of the Club in Mary MacIntyre.

“Mary took on the role of Lady Captain at the Club in 1998 and 2000 and also served as Lady President in 2003/2004.

“She was a very active member of the club for many years, serving on many committees down through the years.

“Mary will be sorely missed by us all.

Our deepest sympathies go to the MacIntyre Family on the loss of their mother.”

The club also paid tribute to the death of the mother of Lady Captain Jill McCorkell.

They added: “Our deepest sympathies go to Jill, Joan and families on the loss of their mother.

May they rest in peace.”
