The Tommy Feeney Memorial Cup will take place on March 5th in memory of the Ardara native, with proceeds going to the charity – Embrace Farm.
Tommy, a husband and father of two, tragically lost his life in a farming accident at the age of just 36 in October of 2021.
To keep the memory of Tommy alive, a memorial and fundraising ladies football game has been organised.
The game will see Corduff minor ladies team, in which Tommy help to coached and manage, make the long journey up to Ardara to play the Ardara minor ladies in hope of winning The Tommy Feeney Memorial Cup.
All funds raised from the charity game will go to Embrace Farm Ireland, a charity which is a farm accident support network which offers support to families affected by the tragic loss of a loved one in a farming accident or to survivors who have suffered serious injuries as a consequence of a farm related accident.
The game is scheduled for 15:30 on the 5th of March in Pearse Memorial Park, Ardara.
