Finn Harps captain David Webster believes Harps have let another chance of picking up extra points tonight away from them after losing 3-0 to Dundalk.
Webster said: “It’s the same as last week where we had 3,4 maybe 5 chances but if you don’t put the ball in the net you get punished for it.
“We were well beaten in the second half when we were chasing the game but it’s disappointing after the first half performance.”
Harps were hurt by the first goal but the second goal straight away in the second half took the wind out of them as Dundalk controlled the remainder of the game.
Webster added: “It’s horrible to concede at any time of the game but 20 seconds after half-time is not ideal at all, the half-time team talk goes out the window and it’s hard to mentally get back from that but we’re looking forward to next Friday.
