A bridge linking Donegal and Leitrim is to be closed for emergency repairs this week.
The R280 will be closed at Lennox’s Bridge on the Donegal/Leitrim County boundary.
It will be closed to all users from 7:30am – 5:30pm on Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th & Friday 11th of March 2022 to facilitate immediate repairs.
Alternative Route:
Travelling from Kinlough to Sligo/Donegal – Diversion will be in place via L2063 & L2076.
Travelling from Donegal/Sligo to Kinlough – Diversion will be N15/L2063 via Tullaghan.
All HGV traffic shall be diverted via N15 Tullaghan/L2063. Diversions will be sign posted.
