Killybegs is to host its annual St Patrick’s Day Parade after an absence of two years since the pandemic struck.
Arrangements are being made for a great day on March 17th in the fishing port.
Among the most anticipated sites is the return of St Catherine’s Marching Band who have been sorely missed for the last two years.
A spokesperson for the organising committee said “Killybegs is delighted to welcome the return of the St Patrick’s Day Parade to the town on Thursday the 17th March at 3pm. Most anticipated is the return of St Catherine’s Marching Band who have been sorely missed for the last two years.
“As many floats and marchers as possible are welcome, for planning purposes please email killybegscommunitycouncil@gmail.com if you can join us. Assembling at St Catherine’s Vocational School at 2:30pm. See you there!”
