Buncrana Hearts will be travelling in numbers to support Jodie and Keri Loughrey in their Republic of Ireland women’s under-17 UEFA European Championship round 2 qualifiers.
Forty kids from the club will travel down to cheer on the girls and the team in their game against Finland tomorrow afternoon in Tallaght Stadium.
Jodie Loughrey played 76 minutes in the team’s first qualifier in Tallaght on Wednesday evening as they equalised late on to salvage a 1-1 draw with Slovakia, while Keri was an unused substitute.
Slovakia took the lead from the penalty spot through Aneta Surova on the 72nd minute but Ireland pressed and Michaela Lawrence equalised with two minutes left.
The other game in the group also ended 1-1 as tomorrow’s opponents Finland drew with Iceland.
Kick-off tomorrow is at 2pm.
